Introduction


The Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM) World Championship of Magic is the most prestigious event in the world of magic.


The world champion competition between magicians is held every three years in a different country. The competition gathers the most talented magicians from around the globe to showcase their skills and compete for the coveted Grand Prix title.

The Competition

FISM features several categories, including stage magic, close-up magic, manipulation, mentalism, and more. Competitors are judged on various criteria such as technique, originality, and showmanship.


The most prestigious award, the Grand Prix, is given to the overall best performer, recognizing their exceptional talent and dedication to the art of magic but its not always awarded!

The 2022 FISM was a historical event and the first time in history that the World Championships crossed the ocean and appeared in North or South America—a huge historic win for Canada.
